This is my attempt at a silhouette water reflection art piece. I worked on several different water reflection designs and never got it exactly the way I wanted. I finally tried to keep it simple and I think that worked out better. I'll let you decide. I like it okay but I am not completely satisfied.
You can change the effect by changing the backer board color. It gives it a bit more of a contemporary design style.
WorkTunes AM/FM Radio and Hearing Protection. First Hand Review.
I have owned this WorkTunes Radio and hearing protection overhear headphones for a few years. I don't use them for every situation in my shop but for long, loud exposure to noise, they are fantastic. They have a noise reduction rating of 24dB. I can't define that but I know that I can mow the yard with these on and still easily hear the included radio clearly. They do a great job of noise reduction.
The included AM/FM radio has very good sound quality. It also has a 3.5mm jack to plug your smartphone it to so you can listen to your library of music or Podcasts.
The volume and tuning controls are large and easy to grab. No small up and down buttons that you can't find when you need them. This tool is well designed.
This headphone has nearly 5,000 Amazon reviews with a score of 4.5 out of 5. My personal rating would be a 4.5. I take off a half point because they are pretty large. I wish they were just a little smaller.
The current price on Amazon is $45.84. I have no idea how they come up with the .84 but the price is good for the quality.
You need hearing protection. You might also enjoy listening to music while you work. Why not combine the two?
