2019 Washington Nationals World Series Champs Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

This pattern is an eight-inch celebration plate for the Washington Nationals. It is two 1/4" layers with the back layer painted red.

The 2019 World Series was something special for the fans of the Washington Nationals. The franchise won its first title in history. This was the 115 world series. In what has to be the most amazing stat I have heard in a long time, the road team won all seven games. That is the first time in series history that a home team did not win a game.

Game seven was an epic with two Cy Young winners facing off on the mound. The Houston Astros went up two runs through six innings. That's when the Nats went to work at the top of the 7th. The Nationals scored three runs in the top of the 7th and that was the game. Washington scored three more runs in the 8th and 9th to win the series 6-2.

The Nationals were an underdog story for sure. At the end of May, they were 19-31. Then they went to work and played their way into the playoffs. Once they made the playoffs they took advantage of every opportunity. That's what champions do. Congratulations to the Washington Nationals and their fans.

You also have to give a huge congratulations to the Houston Astros. They won 98 regular-season games for the best record in the league. They went all the way to game seven of the world series. That is one incredible season.

Safety Check Time:

We had our first snowflakes of the season today. Winter is closing in fast here in the U.S. Outdoor activities are slowing down and many of you will be spending more time in your shop. That is a good time to do a safety check.

Tripping hazards, fire hazards, electrical hazards, chemical hazards are all something to check.
Make sure your power tools are set up correctly with appropriate guards in place. Dull blades are dangerous blades.

Do you have small children or pets in your shop? If that is yes, then you have even more responsibility to keep the shop safe. Are power tools safely locked where small children can't accidentally start them up? Chemicals need to be in a locked cabinet.

Every year I receive an email from a reader who loses their shop to fire. Unfortunately, that sometimes includes their house also. The two biggest culprits are electrical and chemical fires. Please check that oily rags are properly disposed of. Double-check all of your electrical connections. Are any of them showing heat damage? If it's discolored it is probably getting too hot. Check the ratings of the circuit and use appropriate electrical cords. Replace or repair immediately.

Check your first aid kit. Keep it stocked with at least the basics.

If an accident happens in the shop, can you easily contact someone for help? Do you carry your phone to the shop? It may save your life.

Another nice addition to a shop is backup lighting. If you trip a breaker, can you see to get to the box? Battery operated lights that come on when they lose power can be very helpful.

Most of these items can be taken care of with little or no cost. The cost of not taking care of them is too high to overlook.

I am doing my complete safety check today. I hope you will do the same.

Stay safe out there.

Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:

I am still making good progress on ornament patterns. I should be able to get caught up today. If you have orders in the queue, keep your eye on your email inbox.

The price is $1 per name with a 5 name minimum. I keep the price as low as possible
because I want everyone to have a chance to make these ornaments for family and friends.

You only pay after you have received the order and are
100% satisfied with the patterns. Invoice included with
the pattern email. Pay by credit card(secure Paypal), check, or cash.

The patterns will be emailed to you after they are completed.
Please allow up to a week for delivery.

You can use last names on the ornaments if you like but remember that the more letters the more
difficult they are to cut. Ten letters and up gets pretty small. If you need to you can enlarge the patterns by 10% to make the interior cuts larger. No special characters are supported. I can get a hyphen in there but it looks odd. It has to connect the two letters so it does not just fall out.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping
Inlay with a 1" Forstner Bit.
The perfect way to sign your work.

The Dust Deputy Deluxe Anti-Static Cyclone Separator 5 Gallon Kit(Vacuum not included.)

I have owned the Oneida Dust Deputy for a couple years. I love this thing. Emptying a dust collector is not the most fun job. Replacing filters can get expensive. The Dust Deputy helps with both problems plus more.

A cyclone separates the large debris from the small dust particles. The large stun goes in the double bucket and the small dust goes to the vacuum. Not only does this make emptying the dust easier, I do it way less often.

Here is a video review I did of the Dust Deputy back in 2017.

  • INCREASED SUCTION POWER - Now 20% more efficient with Neutral Vane Technology, Oneida Air Systems' patented Dust Deputy cyclone uses centrifugal force to capture and remove 99% of dust and debris from the air-stream before it reaches your vacuum filter, eliminating clogged filters and suction loss!
  • LONGER LIFESPAN – Prevents fine dust and large debris from reaching your dust filter, reducing the need for cleanings and prolonging the lifespan of your filter. The Dust Deputy Deluxe will save you countless time and money on expensive replacement vacuum filters and dust bags, allowing you to keep working harder, longer, and safer than ever!
  • WET OR DRY – This simple and efficient design can be adapted for use with any make, size, or model wet/dry vacuum and features tapered 2.0" ports for secure fittings using a variety of dust collection hose sizes. Portable design can be mounted directly to the vacuum. Works with most materials: Wood dust, drywall dust, concrete dust, clay/silica dust, blasting soda, cooled ash & soot, water, metal shavings, baking flour, grass & leaves, pet/animal hair, pharmaceutical waste, and much more!
  • MADE IN AMERICA – Comes with everything you need to convert your wet/dry vacuum into a two-stage, dust-free system. Including the AS cyclone, SD hose, elbow adapters, 5 gallon buckets, caster wheels, gasket, and mounting hardware.
