This pattern is what you would call an enticement. This is a free scroll saw vase pattern. These vases are easy to make and look nice with silk flowers. If you like making this project then I have two digital download books full of different sizes and styles of vases for sale.

Foot Switch - Deadman Style


For me, the most important accessory I buy for my scroll saw is a footswitch. There are a couple styles of footswitches. ON/OFF and Deadman style. Most scrollers prefer the Deadman style. With the Deadman switch, the saw runs while your foot is on the switch and off when you raise your foot. The ON/OFF switch requires a second click to stop the saw.

Hot Dish/Pot Holder and Stir Paddle Scroll Saw Pattern.

The stand can be used either way up to fit the dish.

Sometimes scraps of wood are all you need to make a project. If you are a woodworker then you always have small scraps of wood around the shop that you just cannot bring your self to throw away. It's nice to have simple, small projects that give those scraps a home. 

The idea for today's project came from some scraps that I wanted to use up. I just designed patterns around the size of those scraps. 

The hot stand is 1/2" thick wood and the stir paddle is 1/4" thick. 

Works with flat bottom dishes.
No need to glue the parts together. Easy storage.

Framed Bass Fishing Art Scroll Saw Pattern.

This pattern is 10" X 6". The public domain lake photo of the lake is included for printing. Print the photo on 8"X10" high-quality photo paper. If you are handy with photo editing software you could even personalize the art with your favorite fisherman's photo. 



The image above shows all the pieces for the project. The frame is optional. You may want to add an actual frame to the art especially if you use a personalized photo.
