Let me say this upfront. Automata projects often take some fiddling to make them move correctly. That will be true for this project. The machine works are simple but be prepared to add weight here or sand an edge there. In other words, just make it work.
The center shaft is glued to the body. The two wing shafts are free-floating and ride in cups on the bottom of the wings.
When you glue the butterfly to the center post give her a slight angle with the head higher than the tail. Test before you commit to gluing.

If you are on Windows, there is a pattern viewer program on the DVD named SWSCatalog.exe. It will let you scroll through all the patterns and click them to open.
There is also a thumbnail PDF on the DVD named #SWSCatalog.pdf. It is the first file in the directory. It has a thumbnail and filename for every pattern on the DVD. You can use this pdf to quickly browse the patterns. This will work on any operating system.

I make this DVD version available because my distributor can ship internationally. I am not able to ship the USB drive version outside the US. I am still working on fixing that problem.
