This patriotic pattern comes in two sizes. The small one is 10.5" wide. The large pattern is 14" wide. I am showing the simulated photos above with contrasting wood and paint. Those are just options. Using Baltic birch plywood for both layers will work fine. I just need the contrast for the pictures.

I wear a shop apron while I work. I am messy and it's better to get glue and paint on the apron than on my clothes. The problem was that I used to spend $50+ for a high-quality apron. My clothes were cheaper than my apron.
After searching for a few years I came across the Bucket Boss apron. It met my first criteria. It was not expensive. Under $20. So I ordered one. That was back in 2015 and I have used these aprons ever since. I have never worn one out. I do eventually get it covered in glue and dirt so I just order another one. I get one a year.
This apron is surprisingly well made for the price. I have never had a strap break. The clasps are plastic but good quality. The shoulder pads are not the thickest but I don't feel uncomfortable with the apron on.
I would like the lower pocket to be larger but that's not a deal-breaker for me.
If you like to wear an apron then I don't think you can do better than the Bucket Boss. It is cheap enough to not worry about getting it dirty and not so cheap to be poor quality.
