Electric Candle Hanging Lanterns Scroll Saw Pattern.

 Download Below

This hanging lantern will accept an electric candle 3.25" diameter and 4.25" tall. There is an optional wall bracket pattern included to hang the lantern from. You can eliminate the chain and just sit the lanterns on a table.

I used all 1/4" Baltic birch plywood for this prototype. I use BB ply many times to reduce my cost while I am testing my patterns. This lantern would obviously look nicer in beautiful hardwood.

Optional Wall Bracket

Not recommended but if you do use a real candle then please make sure you remove the top while lit. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Three feet for stability when sitting on a table

The lantern uses eyelet screws and light-duty chain to hang.

Scrollsaw Workshop Blog List Page:

3996 blog posts! I started the blog on May 1st of 2007. I just finished another year. The page above shows a running list of links to every blog post I have written. It takes a while to load but when it does it currently shows 3996.

On May 1st, 2007 I started the blog just as a learning experience. I never expected anyone to ever show up much less care to come back twice. There is no way I expected to make this my life long passion but that is what has happened.

Thanks for the support all these years.

The page linked above is occasionally useful to search the blog. You will know that it has completely loaded when the Total Posts: number shows up.
