These large Picture Tops are fun to play with and the pictures make then unique. I included seven picture patterns. I also included a blank that you can import into Inkscape and add your own picture.

I made the tops octagon-shaped because new scrollers have an easier time cutting straight lines than they do circles. If you are going to make your own picture tops and want circles just draw the circle in Inkscape and add the picture to it. The hole in the top needs to be very accurately drilled in the middle. I add a center dot to make sure it is centered.
There are a few places where things can go wrong with this simple project. Things need to be accurate to get a smooth spin. Follow the instructions in the pattern if you have trouble.
