Nautilus Gears Scroll Saw Pattern.

This project has absolutely no use except to be interesting to look at. Nautilus gears are based on Fibonacci spirals. The Fibonacci spiral is a set of numbers that starts with a one or a zero, followed by a one, and proceeds based on the rule that each number (called a Fibonacci number) is equal to the sum of the preceding two numbers.

Some of you may like to motorize this project. It would not be too difficult with a small DC motor.
I think that would be hypnotizing.


Notice how the Fibonacci numbers are present in this beautiful shell. Nature is full of math.
