Sailing Ship Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

There are a few small interior cuts in this pattern. All the interior holes are large enough to use a 1/16" drill bit. You will want to use a #3 or smaller blade for some of these cuts. I used a #3 reverse tooth blade.

The hull of the ship is three layers. The center layer includes the sails but the front and back layers are just the hull. I used 1/4" Baltic birch plywood for the center layer and 1/8" BB ply for the front and back of the hull. I think it would work okay is you used 1/4" for all three layers if that is all you have handy. The bottom of the ship has a tab that fits into a slot in the base. With the tab and glue it is fairly secure.
