Abstract Horse Sculptures Scroll Saw Pattern.

Okay, I know these won't be for everyone. These abstract horse sculptures are just me playing with patterns. Each horse head is 9.5" tall. They can be cut from 3/4" or thicker wood. Baltic birch plywood or hardwood should work fine. The heads are over 8" wide so you may need to glue up a board if you use hardwood. I think BB ply will actually look interesting with the abstract designs.

I guess I have been living under a rock because I just discovered this Intarsia Facebook group. I clicked to join the group but there is a process to get accepted. Even if you don't join the group you will enjoy looking through all the wonderful art.

Here is the intro information on the Facebook page.

Intarsia Nuts was formed as a group so folks who are actively involved in the art of intarsia have a place to chat, share projects, ask questions, give answers and generally get to know others around the world who share the same interest. There aren't many rules involved in membership, but those that exist are here to preserve the group as it was envisioned ..... The rules are simple: . Because we want an active, lively group, each person applying to the group is asked a couple of questions about their interest and experience with intarsia. We would like our members to be actively doing, learning, teaching or designing intarsia, posting in the group and keeping posts relevant to intarsia.
We wait about a week for a response to those questions. If there is none, the name is dropped from the membership request list.  In order to be accepted for membership, you must apply personally.  Invitations by members are nice but are not considered.   It is also necessary to answer the questions and, if possible, post a photo of your work.  If you are a beginner, say so.  We love to help newcomers to our art.
There are just a couple of other rules: No advertising or selling projects in the forum and no foul language, flaming or otherwise impolite behavior.
If anyone is found to be copying or pirating designs, he or she will be permanently banned from this group.
