Segmentation can be a lot of fun and also beautiful. I cut and sand contoured this really fast so I could get it posted for the newsletter. With more time this project could look better. All the background sky pieces could be lowered with additional sanding. You could also raise the balloons, clouds, and bird with spacers. The more relief you give it the better.
This pattern could also be the start of an intarsia project.
In included two sizes of this pattern. The small pattern is 6.5" X 8" and the large pattern is 8" X 10".

I am a sucker for technology. I love to watch, makers create as much as I like to create. I posted about this project a few months ago. Andrew has gone through different iterations of this machine and I find it extremely interesting. He may not end up with a machine that can compete with a skilled scroller but he is going to learn a lot and might just solve his initial design goal. If I remember correctly he wants to cut puzzles with this machine. The video is under six minutes.
