Health Information:
Let me get this information sharing out of the way before I talk about this pattern. I received many emails today asking about my health issues. There were some posts on social media about me being ill. That was fine. It is no secret but I just don't have all the facts yet so I was holding off discussing the problem.

A couple weeks ago I had a biopsy to determine if I had Amyloidosis. The lab results came back positive. Amyloidosis is an incurable disease that has the ability to damage the organs of the body. When it is diagnosed early there are treatments to slow the progress of the disease.  At this point, we think we have a very early diagnosis.

I have been notifying people to who I had obligations so they would know that it is possible that my treatments could cause a disruption in my ability to follow through on promises to do events. Most events are still canceled anyway so that helps. I needed to talk to them and family before I was open about it on the blog.

What does this mean for the blog? I don't know yet but I am remaining optimistic that I will be able to continue my work here. This blog is one of my best medicines. Getting to talk to you guys every day and make patterns is good for my wellbeing so I hope for no disruptions. If there will be disruptions I will give as much notice as possible.

I will try to keep up with the orders for Ornament patterns and Signature coins. If it looks like I won't be able to get the orders I will probably do a temporary shutdown of the order pages. If you try to place an order and see a notice, you will know what is happening.

My attitude is positive and I am ready to take on the disease with the same effort I put into this blog. A good attitude is often helpful but a bad attitude never helps. I am doing my best to put the bad attitude in a box and lock it away.

Okay, I do not want the blog to become anything but a place to enjoy our hobby and have fun. I will share information as it is needed to keep you informed of disruptions but I won't burden you with my troubles more than is necessary.

Thanks for all the nice well wishes and prayers you sent. They are more appreciated than I can express.

Now back to what I like to talk about. :)

This backlit silhouetted church is ten inches tall. It is backlit with an LED strip. It is cut from 1/4" Baltic birch plywood.

This LED strip can be cut to any length. It comes with the USB power cord attached. Once you cut the LED strip from the spool you can easily use the rest of the LED spool with a new USB power cord and heat shrink tube. You will need to cut the USB cable and solder the connection to the strip. I am looking for a connector that will eliminate the need for solder. I'll let you know when I find one.

One nice feature of this USB powered LED strips is that you can use a USB battery bank and not need a power outlet nearby.

Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns are ready to order:

I am ready to start taking Personalized Christmas Ornament Pattern orders.

I can do first or last names but remember that more than ten letters will be more difficult to cut.

The order form will take up to 20 names for people and 5 names for pets. If you need more than 20/5 then start a second order.

You will not pay until you have the patterns and are 100% happy with them. There will be an invoice sent with the patterns to your email. You will have the option to pay securely with a credit card or send a check to the included address.

I am shooting for a three-day turnaround but that may be difficult for a few days until I get all the kinks worked out. I'll do my best. You can set a bookmark for each of the order forms but I will post them almost every day until Christmas.

$1 per/name with a 5 name minimum.

$2 per/name no minimum.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping
Inlay with a 1" Forstner Bit.
The perfect way to sign your work.
