This display hand saw is 16" long. I did not add too much detail because it is already a bit fragile. Make sure you save the large interior cuts for last. You want to keep the wood as strong as possible while you cut the small interior cuts.

Catalog Update:

I spent this week preparing the 2007-2020 DVD/USB Scrollsaw Workshop Catalog. It is now complete and ready to ship.

The Catalog is available in DVD and USB thumb drive formats. The DVD ships to about 60 different countries. The thumb drive is only available to ship in the US.

Scroll down to find the order form links.

The 2007-2020 version contains all the patterns from 2007 - 2020. This includes 342 new pattern books from 2020. That makes a total of over 3,100 pattern books. Many of the books contain more than one pattern.

Eligible for a free update? Read carefully.

If you ordered the DVD or USB catalog in November or December of 2019 you are eligible for a digital download of the updated files. If you wish to have this download then send me an email to

support@stevedgood.com
Make sure you copy and paste the email address into your email client so it is correct.

The update includes all 342 patterns from 2020 and a new thumbnail index file. The file is about 1/2gig.
You only need to copy the update files to the same directory where you installed the last catalog.

If you are using the DVD or USB drive without copying the files to your computer, I highly suggest you copy them to your hard drive. All drives will eventually fail. If you have not made a copy of those files they will be gone.

You need to create a new directory on your hard drive. Any name is fine. Copy all the files from the DVD or USB drive to that directory. Now copy the updated files to the same directory. Allow overwrite of any files if ask.

It's a New Year So I Started Counting. Thank You.

77,315,218

I used to keep a running total of the number of patterns that have been downloaded from my catalog.
I stopped tracking the numbers a couple of years ago because it just took too much time. I had some free time today and decided to take a look at the stats.

2020 was the second largest number of pattern downloads ever. I guess that should not be a surprise with all the at-home time people had. It was nice to see.

The total number of pattern downloads from May of 2007 thru December of 2020 was a bit over 77 million. I was expecting it to be around 50 million so I was pleasantly surprised.

The blog is continuing to grow. The growth had slowed way down in about 2016 and I thought it had pretty much maxed out. In the last two years, growth started to accelerate again. It is slower, but growth is good. I appreciate the support.

Hopefully, I can make 2021 an interesting year for the blog. January is always a slow month and I need time to recuperate from the rush of the holiday season. This last holiday season was extremely busy. I had several 10+ hour days working on the blog. I loved every minute but I always need a break after it is over.

I won't bore you with all the other site statistics but it was a good year. Thank you.
