Let me start out by saying that I saw a project very similar to this online. I used a different font and rearranged the characters but it is not an original idea of mine. I liked the phrase because I consider my shop my happy place.

I think we all have a place where we feel the most content. I can see this word art hanging in a kitchen, sewing room, craft room, TV room, and for a bit of humor, the bathroom. Heck, there may even be a few of you who take it to work.

The pattern comes in two sizes. You can use the backer board if you wish to hang the word art or you can just make it free-standing.

Personalized Signature Coins. Sanded or Not Sanded? More Information:

The coins have two very small tabs that hold them in the sheet. Just twist to remove

The most common question is about sanding the coins.

When I laser Engrave the Personalized Signature Coins for customers I do not sand them. I have had customers say they like the distressed look of the un-sanded coins and some who don't. I also want to keep the price as reasonable as possible. A sheet of 12 coins is $12. Sanding would add considerably to the price and I don't want that to happen.

To make sure you can have them the way you like, I make sure to engrave the coins deep. This leaves room to sand with 220 grit paper and still have a nice engraving. I have gotten better over the years at getting the engraving sharp and deep. There is room to sand.

If you are new to the Scrollsaw Workshop you may not be familiar with my Signature Coins. Watch the video below to see just how much they add to your projects. Some of your work will be in your family for years. It's nice to have a  permanent signature on the back of your projects so the next generation will know who made the heirloom.

These coins will cost you a few cents over $1 for each special project.

The signature Coins are inlaid into your project using a 1" Forstner drill bit. Find a spot on the back or bottom of your project. Drill a 1" hole, 1/8" deep, and the coin can be glued in place. A drill press is handy but you can do it with a hand drill if you are careful. I like the coin to be flush with the surface but it's fine to slightly recess the coin.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping

The perfect way to sign your work.
