There are ten standup animal puzzles in this pattern book. I highly suggest that you use a #2/0 scroll saw blade to cut these puzzles. If the kerf is too large the puzzles will have a tough time standing without sagging.

Remember to use good technique so you get a square cut. You are using a very thin blade on thicker stock. That combination will show poor cutting technique very quickly. You want the puzzle pieces able to slide in and out from the front and back.

I only test cut the seal but I tried to carefully design the pieces so they have enough support that the puzzle will stand. The Sea Horse is the one that may be a struggle. The bottom piece needs to hold up all the other pieces. I'm not sure how well balanced it is. I included optional bases in case you need them for more support.
