This Easter Bunny Candy Dish pattern comes in two sizes. The small one is 6.5" in diameter and the large pattern is 8" in diameter.
The image below is the alternative center posts I included. As you can see they are just silhouettes. You can easily add any center post or just completely eliminate it.

I found this new video on YouTube today. This is an Oliver 273-D scroll saw. I believe this is from the 1970s or 80s. I see these come up for sale occasionally in the used market. I have never seen one restored to this level. They often sell in the $3000 range in rougher condition than this one.
The best I can tell, Oliver Machinery is still in business. They still sell woodworking tools. They are based in Michigan.
Doug has another video that shows a close-up video of this saw. You can really see the detailed restoration in these shots. https://youtu.be/nV0PSJjuPJE
Doug is also restoring an Oliver planner and table saw.
Amazon Basics Blue Painter Tape:
Before I apply my pattern to the wood I cover the wood in blue painter's tape. It helps prevent the wood from scorching on the edges and makes the pattern easier to remove. There is one big problem with blue painter's tape. It is expensive and I use a lot of it.
I now buy it from Amazon and their price is decent. Not great but decent. Walmart has it for about the same price but I don't shop at Walmart. Home Depot and Lowes are higher. If you watch for Amazon sales it can drop down a few dollars.
The current Amazon price is $30 for 6 rolls of 1.88" width. I have seen the Amazon price go under $25 for 6 rolls. At that price, it is a very good deal. Single rolls can sell for $6.50 and higher.
This Amazon basics tape is not quite as good as the Scotch brand but I don't have any trouble with it lifting while I cut. It just rips easier when taking it off the roll.
I know a lot of you use clear packing tape over the pattern. It is much cheaper and serves the same purposes. I have used just about every method possible to apply a scroll saw pattern but I prefer the blue tape best. I just wish it were not so expensive.
I complain but I am able to get a couple months out of a 60-yard roll. That's like $1.50 a month. I guess when I think about it that's not so bad.
