I received an email from Doug C. today asking about butterfly house patterns. That is something I had not thought of before so I decided to design one. I kept it pretty simple and used slot and tab construction to make it more durable in the weather. It does need a finish of good exterior paint. Also, make sure you use waterproof glue like Titebond III.

I used to take stock photos to sell online. This is a photo I took of a butterfly back during that time. I liked this photo but it never sold. My best sellers were generic photos that writers could use in articles. My number one seller was a photo of a mail truck. I loved photography but stock photography was not my cup of tea.
