This Compass Rose is five layers thick. I know a lot of you like these layered projects so I thought this compass rose would make a nice design. The pattern comes in two sizes. 8" diameter and 10" diameter.
One interesting thing you can do with these compass roses is personalizing them with the GPS coordinates of the person's house or other important location. You can get the GPS location of any address at this link. https://www.gps-coordinates.net/
One important note: When I designed the pattern I got it slightly out of square. All that means is that the top three layers need to be stacked in the orientation of the pattern. Sorry, but I did not realize this until after I had it completed. It works, you just have to pay attention to the top of each layer.
Second important note: The test project of this pattern in the photo above was cut with my laser. I am in the process of getting my house ready for our move so my time is more limited than normal. Doing the test cut allows me to ensure that the pattern works as intended. You may see more of this until I get to our new location at the end of August.
