I don't design too many signs. They typically have too many interior cuts because of all the letters. I have to think the words are funny or meaningful enough to make all the cuts worthwhile. When I saw this cute joke I laughed out loud so I turned it into a pattern.
I think I found it funny because my older sister and I are always poking fun at each other. The original joke was slightly off-color so I sanitized it a bit.

I received these photos yesterday in an email from Nancy V. She made a painting project for her painting club using one of my gnome patterns. She also added a few accessories. The flowers are made from beads. The rake is a wood skewer and toothpicks. The ladybug and flower pot are store-bought and perfect for her project.
