Dear God Scroll Saw Pattern.

This 8" X 10" two-layer, "Dear God" pattern has a wonderful message framed in beautiful scrollwork.

I spent several minutes editing the letters to make them easier to cut. They will still be a challenge if you are not yet proficient with the scroll saw. I suggest a #1 or #3 scroll reverse blade.

It can be difficult to turn a large board while making small intricate cuts. I am not normally a fan of cutting letters with a spiral blade, but it may be easier in this case. Practice on some scrap and determine what works best for you.

Scrollsaw Workshop Free Online Catalog:

I know that most of you know this information but I want to share it with those who are new. After I post a free pattern I upload it to my free online catalog. There are currently closer to 3,500 free patterns available for download.

It is very basic to use. Here are the key points. Note the numbers on the image above.

1. Search input: This is the place to start if you have an idea of what you are looking for. Type "basket" in the search box and all the patterns that have "basket" in the title or description will show up.

2. Category: There are several categories. When I upload a pattern to the catalog I try to select the most appropriate category for the project. You can narrow searches down considerably by selecting a category. If you need a baseball pattern, select the "Sports" category. There is also an "All" category. This obviously shows every pattern. It will take a while to go through them but they are all there.

3. Results. This simply allows you to set the number of pattern thumbnails that will display on each page.

4. Thumbnails of the pattern. The first page that loads have the last 12 patterns that I have uploaded. Simply click the image and a dialog will open that allows you to download the pattern. This section will change based on your selections above.

The patterns in this catalog are free. I work on donations for these patterns. If you enjoy the patterns and would like to support what I do then I appreciate any donations I receive. Do not feel obligated to donate. You may sell the projects made from these patterns. You may not distribute or upload the patterns to another site. I retain the copyright to the pattern. The patterns, cannot be sold or included in a collection of patterns to be sold. I appreciate your cooperation. Enjoy the patterns.
