Our country spent the day remembering the terrible event that took place on 9.11.2001. That day was one of the saddest days in history for our country. It was a reminder that evil is out there and wants to harm us.
The world has changed over the last 20 years but evil is still lurking and is intent on striking again. It is critical that we remember what happened on 9.11.2001. Remembering keeps us alert.
It is also important that we remember the sacrifice of the first responders who lost their lives and suffered serious illnesses. Respiratory illness and cancer are all too common after-effects for those who responded to help.
It is important that we remember all the men and women who have spent the last 20 years overseas taking the fight to our enemies.
Last but not least it is important to remember those who perished that day. They were mothers, fathers, siblings, family, and friends.
The pattern above comes in two sizes. There are two layers. Each layer is 1/4" thick. There are 82 interior cuts so this will probably take a while to cut. Remember to take breaks. Your back will thank you.
