Our new home has a wooded area behind it. The leaves are just beginning to turn and fall. We don't have any red color yet but the orange and brown colors are beautiful. The undergrowth has been so dense that I have not been able to get back into the woods to check it out. There is a very small dry creek bed that I think I can follow. It's not a large area but I still want to explore it a little.
All the seasons cause a different emotion in my mind. Fall feels relaxing. I can sit on the back deck and just watch the trees. I actually watch them with my eyes closed but it's nice to know they are there. Nap!
