Pizza Cutter Scroll Saw Pattern.

This pattern file has a useful and very simple pattern. Pizza is one of the most popular foods in the world. It is estimated that 350 slices are eaten every second. If my math is correct that is nearly a billion slices every month. 40% of Americans eat pizza at least once a week. That's a lot of cheese. Just about any person you give a pizza cutter to will have a use for it.

A one-handed and a two-handed cutter are included.  Make sure that all the edges that are handled get sanded to a nice soft touch.

I used hard maple for the blade. Other species will work also but they need to have some strength.

I sharpen the blade with a disk sander and a drum sander. If you have to sharpen them by hand it will take a while. I would glue sandpaper to a flat surface and rub the blade. Start with 80 grit and work your way up. The blade does not have to be razor-sharp. Look at the photo above. This edge is good enoigh.

Food safe finishes. This subject gets talked about on the woodworking forums all the time. The reality is that almost all modern-day finishes are food safe after that fully cure. Curing can take hours to days. The problem is that many of the people you make the cutters for will be more comfortable with finishes that are popular as food safe. I suggest you do a Google search for food-safe finishes. There are a few common ones available.

Personalized Christmas Ornament Orders:

I am working to get all the orders out today. I should be able to make that happen. If you are reading this and have not received your order then there is a good chance it was blocked by a spam filter. Fisrt, check your spam folder. If you don't find the order then send me an email and I will make sure you get them.

I am shooting for a three-day turnaround on orders. I have slightly missed that the last few days. Some have gone four days. If it has been longer than that then something has happened so give me a shout.

Thanks for all the orders.

Ornaments cut by Bill Doucette

I love making these Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns for you guys every year. Over the years I have sent out somewhere around 40,000 of these patterns. Yes, I make a little money from the sale of the patterns but I also enjoy knowing that there are that many ornaments out there making people happy.

Many of these ornaments will still be on Christmas trees years from now. The family will look back and remember the kindness of the person who made such a special gift.

Bill Doucette sent me the photo above. He has made more than those in the photo but has already mailed some out. Bill has made a lot of people happy with these gifts of love. Thanks for the photo Bill.

Order your Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns:

Personalized Christmas Ornament patterns are $1 each with a five ornament minimum. Each additional name adds an extra $1 to the total. 5 ornaments = $5. 20 ornaments = $20.

After you place the order I will complete the patterns and email them to you with a payment invoice. You have to be completely satisfied before you pay.

I do not offer blank patterns. This is one of the ways I support what I do. I ask that you please not use the template to create your own custom name patterns.

My goal is to have the orders complete in three days. I will keep you posted if there are delays.
