I get lots of requests for different patterns. Sometimes they are too specific to include on the blog. The VW Beetle plaque is probably too specific. The reason I included it is because I get so many requests for a VW pattern.
I guess there are a lot of people who have nostalgic memories. Maybe it was their first car. Maybe they have restored a VW.
If you know someone who collects VW memorabilia then maybe you can give them this as a gift. It only takes a couple of hours to cut and assemble.
The parts are 1/4" and 1/8". Notice that I rounded over the top of the Beetle, tires, wheel hubs, and fender. The VW Beetle has lots of curves and sanding helps the look of the project a lot.
