Winter is here. We had our first snow yesterday here in southern Indiana. Less than an inch but enough to make it pretty outdoors. The snow may be pretty but it's nice to have some color. Plant an indoor flower garden to even out those short grey winder days.

This small 3.5" Terra Cotta flower pot decoration is cut from 1/4" thick plywood.

Be careful when you buy tools. Prices are all over the place.

$760 is a terrible price for this saw.

I like the Delta 40-694 scroll saw. I own one. I bought it for $299 new from Amazon right before the pandemic hit. My plan was to do a video review stating that for $299 it was one of the best bangs for the buck you could purchase.

That video never happened because the price started climbing. I was waiting for the prices to settle. That never happened. Today on Amazon and Lowes the price is $760! Home Depot has it listed on its site for $416. That is a $344 price difference for the exact same product. Crazy.

I think that the truth is that they are out of stock anyway so hopefully no one orders one for $760. Let me say this out loud. $760 for the Delta 40-694 is not only a poor deal, it may be the worst deal of any scroll saw on the market. The Home Depot price of $416 is a fair price for this saw so if you absolutely need one make sure you check Home Depot first.
