I am still organizing my new workshop. One shop need is always storage space. I designed these boxes so they will hang out of the way and be easy to pick up and take to the project.
The slanted sidewalls allow you to hang the boxes vertically and still be able to see and retrieve the contents. I did include an alternative box pattern that reduces the slant significantly to allow more contents room. Just don't overload the box and make it too heavy.
The mount on the assembly table is only for temporary storage. I will have a permanent mount on a wall.
Project Display in my Workshop:
I had some extra room in my shop so I decided to display a few of my projects on the wall. It's fun to have projects sitting out when someone visits my shop. It lets me show them what I do and what can be done with the scroll saw. I may need this extra room someday but for right now I enjoy having them out.
There is no organization of the projects but at least they are not sitting in the attic. This is about a third of what I have but I don't want to take up any more room in the shop.
The wall is 16' long. I used Slatwall boards to make the shelving easy. I may go back and add trim around the wall but it is a shop so it doesn't need to look finished.
