Since we moved back to Indiana, we have spent much more time with family. A couple of days ago I hired my nephew to help me around the house with some heavy projects that needed to be done. He is 18 years old and I have never spent more than a few minutes at one time talking to him. I knew he was a great kid but getting to spend the day with him and talk was eye-opening to just how nice of a young man he is.
I wanted to make something for him to say thanks for the help. He has become a talented guitarist. He is self-taught but has been able to develop quite a bit of skill. This triptych is cut from three 10" X 8" panels. There is a backer board that I painted black.
When hung on the wall with a half-inch separation they are 25" tall.
