It is illegal to hand things from the car mirror in some states. Even in states where there are no specific laws an officer may issue a ticket if he believes the item is an obstruction. These are probably too large to hang from a car mirror. The largest one is almost 5" wide.

Experiment with different tape depending on the stickiness you want. The blue painter's tape removes easily but might peel off after time on its own.

This is the brand of spray adhesive that I use to put my scroll saw patterns on the wood. It is some of the least expensive spray adhesives and I have few if any lifting issues. Currently, it is priced at $7.07 a can. That is at least half the price of some other brands.
