Small Decorative Cart Scroll Saw Pattern.

This small decorative cart should be large enough for artificial flower arrangements or even a candy holder. The cart is a little over 8" long and 4" wide.

I am showing the handle assemble in the animation below so it is more obvious how it goes together,
The pattern calls for 1/4" thick wood. If you plan to paint the project then any material will work. MDF might be an inexpensive choice but plywood will be stronger.

I did not actually test cut this project so watch for possible errors. It 3D modeled okay so I believe the pattern to be accurate.

3D Printer Model of one of my patterns.

For those of you who own 3D printers here is some information. I took my Gamer Controller Stand pattern and created a 3D printer model from it. In the photos below I painted it with metallic paint but it printed fine.

The process is more than I can go into here but let me give you the first steps. My PDF patterns can be imported into Inkscape and the pattern pages saved as SVG files. You can then import the SVG files into Blender. In Blender just extrude the SVGs and put them together like the finished project. Blender can export the 3D model as an STL file that will work in your 3D printer slicer program.

The project below was printed in draft mode so the layer lines are a little more visible but for this project that was fine. Click the photos to see a larger view.

Blender has a huge learning curve but if you use TinkerCad you may be able to make it work. It will import SVG files. I would have to spend some time to get the correct size conversion but I think it is doable.

Today's Wheen pattern was imported into TinkerCad
