Guys, there is a pretty good chance that your wife won't let you put this project in the guest bathroom. 😁 You may have to save this project for the mancave facilities or the outhouse. You have to admit that it would be funny to see her reaction if you stuck it in the main bathroom. That is not a suggestion.

I started this blog nearly 16 years ago. I have published a pattern on average every 1.2 days for those 16 years. I think that allows me to make a really stupid pattern every once in a while. This may be that "once in a while".

Guess where I was when I had the inspiration for this pattern.

Do you think he is getting dizzy?

As if the above pattern was not bad enough here are some jokes for you.

Why was Eeyore down the toilet?
Because he was looking for Pooh!

Did you hear about the film 'Constipated'?
It never came out!

There are two reasons you shouldn't drink from the toilet.
Number one and number two!

I recently bought a toilet brush.
Long story short, I'm going back to toilet paper!

Why didn't the toilet roll make it across the road?
It got stuck in the crack!

Why can't you hear a Pterodactyl using the bathroom?
Because the 'P' is silent!

And last but not least, I asked ChatGPT AI to write a poem about a toilet in the style of William Shakespeare. For some reason, it complied.

Oh throne of porcelain white, where waste doth take its flight,
Thou art the bane of man's despair, and yet, a comfort rare.
Thou art a mystery to me, a paradox complete,
In thee, both filth and cleanliness doth meet.

Thou hast a bowl, so smooth and bright,
And flushing sound, so bold and light,
Thou wash away the dirt and stain,
And leave the place as pure again.

Thou art a wonder of our age,
A marvel of man's engineering sage,
With pipes and valves, so strong and sure,
Thou bringeth sanitation, pure and pure.

Oh throne of porcelain, hear my plea,
Be thou a comfort, and not a bane to thee,
For though thou art a mystery,
Thou art a wonder, and will always be.

I monitor the statistics of how many downloads a pattern gets the first couple of days after it is posted. I do this to have a better understanding of what the majority of scrollers like. On Friday I posted two patterns PDFs of compound cut words. They both had huge numbers of downloads. Maybe the most downloads of any of my patterns since I have been monitoring the numbers.

I'll be honest, I did not have any expectations that those would be so popular. Most of the time the simpler the pattern the more downloads it gets. Compound cut patterns are not overly difficult but they are more difficult than some.

I will work on some more compound cut patterns soon. If you have any suggestions for designs please send them to me via email.
