Buckboard Wagon Box Scroll Saw Pattern.

This backboard wagon box is ten inches long and four inches wide. It can be used to hold candy, candles, etc. All the parts are 1/4" thick. I did not design the wagon to be functional. The front wheels to not steer. It would not take too much modification to make the wagon able to steer but I intended it as a box and not a model/toy.

Most projects that hold candy, candles, etc are designed to a typical female aesthetic. I went more for the male aesthetic with this pattern. I guess that statement is not PC but that was my thought process.

I have a couple of questions for those more knowledgeable than me. And I know very little about this subject. Sod.

When we built this house last year the builder sodded the front yard and seeded the back yard. The seeded backyard never did well so I have decided to have sod installed in the backyard as well. I am in southern Indiana and there is a layer of shale in this area a few inches down. I had a truckload of dirt brought in and it is down and worked level with a good slope. They installed two-thirds of the sod and will be here this morning to finish.

I am getting conflicting information about getting sod started and maintaining it until it roots. Even the installers have different answers depending on who I ask.

I know it needs plenty of water until the roots attach but how much is plenty. Some say a half hour in the morning and a half hour in the evening. Others are on the other end and say 3 hours in the morning and three hours in the evening. That is a big difference. Does anyone have experience in my area with sod and have good knowledge of the proper amount. Can I overwater the grass?  The temperatures here now are lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-70s. Evaporations should be minimal.

I also wonder if the grass needs fertilizer or any other chemical treatment to assist it in getting started. The sod was purchased from a place with a very good reputation. To my untrained eye, it looks well-maintained.  They say they don't cut and roll the sod until it is ready to be picked up. They call it fresh. They sell Kentucky bluegrass and Fescue. I'm not sure which I received but both are recommended for this area.

Thanks for listening. This was not an inexpensive purchase and I just want to make sure I do all I can to get good results. Thanks for any recommendations you may have.
