The chicken is over 8" tall and the chicks are just over 3" tall. If you drill the holes for the eyes then there are no interior cuts. The chicken is cut from 3/4" thick wood and the chicks are cut from 1/2" thick wood.
My daughter and her husband recently moved into a new home. The home is on six acres out in the country. One of their goals, after they get settled, is to build a small chicken coop.
