Garden Stool Scroll Saw Pattern.

Okay, I know, this garden stool is over-designed. I just wanted it to be extra sturdy. The stool will weigh around seven pounds but I think that is still manageable. With the right exterior glue and paint it could even be left in the garden.

I made the stool 12-3/4" tall. I wanted it tall enough to help me get up off of the ground. I tend to end up sitting on the ground and need a prop to put my hand on to get up. I remember the days when I could get up without using my hands. Getting old and out of shape is not fun. 😅

The pattern is too large for single sheets.
You will need to cut and tape the pattern together
for a full-size cut.

Parts can be cut from a 2' X 4' X 3/4" Plywood Panel with room to spare.

Amazon has the price of the DeWalt DW788 down to $379!

The DeWalt DW788 scroll saw has been around for years. It is probably the most popular mid-level scroll saw on the market. At $379 it is a great value. When I purchased mine back in 2006 I think I paid well over $600 for it. Amazon never keeps these lower price very long so this may be a good opportunity if you are in the market for an upgrade.

Like all machines, the DeWalt has pros and cons but compared to any of the entry-level saws it stands head and shoulders above. When I purchased mine all those years ago I was amazed at how much easier it was to use compared to the entry-level saws I had been using.

Now I will admit, this is an ad. I will get a kickback if you click the link below. All I can say is that I have owned the DeWalt DW788 for 17 years and still enjoy using it to this day. I have several scroll saws that are close to $1000 apiece. They are better built than the DeWalt but to be honest I can cut just as well on the DeWalt as those more expensive saws. I have friends who run their craft business with DeWalts. Some of them are cutting a few hours a day. At that rate they need maintenance but they get the job done.
