Metallic Paint
A suit of armor could weigh as much as 55 lbs. Knights often did not wear the full suit. Sometimes they only wore the breastplate. A full suit of armor was very expensive. The common soldier often went to war with substandard armor but that was better than no armor at all.
I am always losing my ink pen in my messy desk drawer. I wanted a cool pen holder. I decided to make one that I thought was different and cool. Knights in armor are cool so that was the plan. The one in the photo below is the one I cut. It is 1/4" and 1/8" plywood. I painted it with metallic aluminum spray paint.
Just for fun, I uploaded a 3D printer file of this project. I have not tested the print yet so use it at your own discretion. Especially double check the size. It should stand about 4.5" tall.
