There is one part of this pattern that is a bit of a challenge. The body of the bird is 1/2" thick. The tail feather is 1/4" thick and they need to fit together. Cut those parts carefully for a good fit. After all the parts are cut, contour the edges for a nice rounded effect. Paint the parts as desired. Then glue them together.
