Farm Set Toy Scroll Saw Pattern. Seyco News.

The toy farm set pattern calls for 1/4" thick wood. You can change that up and use what you have. You may need to modify the pattern a bit but that can be done on the fly at the saw. You can make this set as large as you like by simply cutting more animals.

I always like to research the topic of the patterns I design. It makes it interesting for me and hopefully for you also. I watched a few farming videos and one thing is clear. It is a difficult way to make a living but most farmers love what they do. Even when times are extremely challenging they fight like crazy to keep the farms running. It is not always possible but they don't go away without a fight.

The video below documents dairy farmers in Wisconsin. The last few years have been really tough for many family-owned dairy farms. The video is about an hour long but the stories are both sad and inspiring. If you have a little time watch the video and support your local farmers when possible.

Seyco now carries parts for Pegas, Excalibur/Excelsior/King Scroll Saws

This is great news for the owners of these scroll saws. Seyco has always been known for excellent after-sale support. Now they not only provide parts for their own brand Seyco scroll saw but also the Pegas and Excalibur/Excelsior/King scroll saws. The selection of parts is very good. They carry most of the most commonly used parts for these saws.

Click and bookmark this site. If you own these saws you will eventually need parts. The Seyco web site has undergone significant changes and I love the new format. Make sure you check out the entire site for new products and more.
