The basket is 8" in diameter. You can adjust the height by changing the number of rings. The pattern calls for 1/4" and 1/2" thick wood. this is another pattern where you can use different thicknesses of wood if needed.
The little dog pattern came about because I was thinking about our dog, Holly. She can get very picky and stubborn regarding food and treats. If you try to change up from her regular routine of treats she gives you the look.
One funny thing is she won't eat the last bite. She likes green beans so I fix them as a side for her dinner. She won't eat the last green bean. She knows that it drives my wife crazy that she won't clean her plate so she leaves the last bean. You would have to fight her to eat it. Of course, it does not help that I laugh about it.
She has one bacon treat that I give here in the afternoon. If we have company and they sit in my chair she will go sit in front of them and stare them in the eye. All the family has had to learn that if they sit in my chair they have to give her the bacon treat.
