Second Pattern Today
We recently saw the new, "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" movie. I don't often get to pick a movie when we go and I doubt she will let me pick again anytime soon. While the special effects were very nice the plot did not hold my interest very well. My wife was not a fan and her sister, who liked the original movie did not find this one very good either. Looks like I will be seeing more chick flicks in the future. 😂
Both patterns today are apes. The 3D ape is about 9" long and cut from 3/4" thick wood. This is an easy level cut with only the face having smaller interior cuts.
The ape portrait will be tougher because there are several small interior cuts. This pattern is cut from three layers of 1/4" thick wood. The size is 10" X 8". If you have some nice dark walnut, it will work well for this pattern.
