The Jesus Saves Cross pattern is 10" wide and over 13" tall. The pattern calls for 1/2" and 1/4" thick wood.
The Wild Horse Pattern is 8.5" tall including the base. It calls for 1/4" and 1/2" thick wood.

I was always a huge fan of the New Yankee Workshop television series. The show ran for 21 seasons beginning in 1989. I believe I saw all of them live on as a rerun. Norm was a master craftsman and teacher. He had an easy-going demeanor that made it easy to follow his instructions. The funny thing is that I never built one of his projects. I did learn many techniques from him that I have used for years.
There are many facts in this video that I did not know. If you enjoyed the TV series you will find this interesting.
