The oval basket is 10" long and 7.5" wide. There are seven 1/4" thick layers.
The Doll Rocker is 8" tall so it will fit small to medium-sized dolls. The parts are all 1/4" thick so it may not be appropriate for very small children. I would not call it fragile but it won't take heavy abuse.
