Ten different Jack-O-Box plus a Round Nature Scene Scroll Saw Patterns

Update on my health:

I am still moving slowly and not feeling great so I am not getting caught up on orders very fast. I finally felt like eating today so maybe that will help to get my strength back. The medication they gave me is also causing some side effects and making me want to sleep. I truly appreciate your patience and I will get back up to speed asap.

Let's start with the warnings. Do not use a candle in the box with the lid on. It is best not to use a candle at all. Buy a light fixture and use a low-wattage color light bulb. Sorry, but this has to be said.

There are ten different Jack-O-Lantern faces included in this pattern. That includes a dog and cat face that you may find cute. The pattern is cut from all 3/4" wood. Plywood will be a good choice for this project.

The box face board is 10" X 8" " .75". The sides and back, boards are the same size. One option is to select four different faces and make a four-sided Jack-O-Box. The top and bottom are not included in the pattern except for their sizes. They are 12" X 10.5" X .75" so best cut on a table saw.

If you want to make this into a candy box for Halloween, consider adding a sheet of clear plexiglass or painted wood behind the front face, and do not use the light.

The second pattern is an 8" round nature scene. There are three 1/4" thick layers. There are a few delicate cuts in this pattern so take your time and remember, glue is your friend when a piece breaks.

Ten included faces in the pattern.
These could be easily adapted for use in a real pumpkin carving.
