Second Pattern Today
If you have ever attempted compound cutting this might be one to try. You will need a blank that is 8" X 1.5" X 1.5". Wrap the pattern around two of the sides and start cutting one of the sides. After completing that cut, flip the blank and make the remaining interior cuts. You can hand-hold the blank, but holding it with a clamp may be easier. Take your time and let the blade make the cut without using to much pressure or you will get warped cuts and make the pieces difficult to remove.
If you have a table saw you can cut the blanks from construction 2 X 4s. HomeDepot also sells 1.5" X 1.5" X 3' poplar blanks for $10 so you can get a few compound cut blanks for those.
