This Santa Train pattern is 14.5" long and just a little over 7" tall.
When patterns get as long as this one, they can be more challenging to cut. I normally sit on a stool to cut but when a pattern is large I will stand up and cut. It is easier to swing the board around when my body is not in the way.
I will also typically not cut the small circles with the scroll saw on large patterns. I just find a drill bit that is a close fit to the hole and drill it. In this case, you have holes in the Snowman, wheels, and tree. That is about 18 internal cuts you can eliminate.
