Patty and I recently celebrated our 46th anniversary. We dated for four years before we married, so the years are adding up. They always say that if you can marry up, you should. Well, I got lucky and was able to marry up. With very few exceptions, my life has been better than the year before. Most of this is because of Patty and her family. I came from a troubled background, and Patty's family had closer ties and an extended family that all cared for each other. My wife Patty is a great organizer, and I am not. She keeps me straight on dates and events. If it were up to me alone, I would miss my own funeral. I am overly punctual, but that is only after she reminds me I have someplace to be.

In the 50 years we have been together, not every day has been happy, but we always had the sense to work out the problems. We can both be stubborn, but at least I am smart enough to know she is right, way more than me. Patty, after all these years, I Still Love You.💕 Kinda mushy, huh?

There are three patterns in this PDF. One for 30, 40, and 50 years together. They are cut from 3/4" thick wood. They are a little over ten inches wide.

I Love You Rose Scroll Saw Pattern

You do not need a special occasion to let your significant other know how you feel. Make them know that every day is a special occasion when you are with them. 

Let me let you know that this is not going to be an easy pattern to cut. There are small interior cuts and Weak areas on the stem. You will need a small drill bit for some of the interior cuts. You will have to use a good cutting technique to prevent breaking some of the weaker areas. Always remember that glue is your friend when something breaks.

Hand placement when cutting the weak areas is important. You need to get your fingers close to the blade to prevent stress on the wood. Cutting this pattern with a saw that has excessive vibration will be an even bigger challenge. I'm not saying you can't cut this pattern, just know that there are areas that will be more challenging than other, less challenging patterns.

The Life of a Rose Simulation:

Petunias, Roses, and Sunflowers are three of the most popular flowers grown at homes. While roses have the reputation for high maintenance, they are so beautiful that they are a popular choice. For me, the maintenance rumor has not proven accurate. I am far from a good gardener, but I have always had luck with roses. 

I know I said I am not a great gardener, but I put together an app that gives advice and information about growing roses. The tips in this app do not come from personal experience but from online research. I believe the advice is valid, but use your own judgment and knowledge.

Note: After the first button click, I put the app into full screen. The F11 key on Windows, Control + Command + F on the Mac, will get you out of full screen. Also, the app takes itself out of full screen when the restart button is clicked.
