This Shadow Box pattern is 10" X 8". It has seven 1/4" thick layers, but three of them are optional. They are empty layers that add depth.
This is a more difficult pattern because of several small interior cuts. Use a #3 or #5 blade, and you should be able to make all of the cuts. You will also need a 1/16" drill bit to drill the smaller interior cuts. This is just one of those patterns that you will want to take your time with.
My wife Patty and I were married in a small country church. It was up in Floyd Knobs and the local scenery was beautiful. When we moved back to Indiana a couple of years ago, we went back to visit the church, and not too much has changed. Progress runs slow in small communities, and that is just the way I like it.
