The Jesus Window pattern is slightly larger than most of my designs, measuring just over 14.25 inches tall and 8 inches wide. With larger patterns, it's important to pay close attention to delicate areas during cutting. In particular, the fingers on the left hand and the face can become fragile, so take your time and use the smallest blade available to make those precise cuts

The Pig Rig Truck pattern measures approximately 9 inches in length and is cut from both 1/4-inch and 3/4-inch thick wood.

Some helpful information for those who may be new to purchasing lumber.

The Basics.
When it comes to buying lumber, wood is often measured in terms that can be confusing if you're not used to them. For instance, you might see a board listed as "4/4" — this refers to the rough thickness of the lumber in quarters of an inch. So 4/4 means 4 quarters, or 1 inch thick. A board marked 8/4 is 2 inches thick. These measurements are typically given in rough-cut form before the lumber is planed smooth, so a 4/4 board usually ends up closer to ¾" thick after surfacing.

Another key concept is the board foot, which is a volume measurement used to price and calculate lumber. One board foot equals a piece of wood that's 12 inches long by 12 inches wide by 1 inch thick. To calculate board feet, you multiply the width (in inches) by the length (in inches) by the thickness (in inches), then divide by 144. There's also the linear foot, which is just a straight 12-inch length of wood, regardless of width or thickness. It's often used when the cross-sectional dimensions are standard and you're just concerned with how long the piece is. Both terms are useful to know, depending on the type of lumber you're buying and the pricing system being used.
