The Geometric Moose pattern is 10" wide and cut from 1/4", 1/2", and 3/4" thick wood. These thickness suggestions can be changed to all 1/4" thick, and it will still look fine.
The Geometric Fox pattern is 14.5" tall and cut from two 1/4" thick layers of wood.
I was experimenting with these, and I think I like the fox better than the moose. I was trying to add depth to the moose, but if I were to do it again, I would just use 1/4" wood.
New Technique for Creating a Pattern
I am always searching for new techniques to generate patterns. Today, I ran into a YouTube video where the guy showed how to take an image and generate a geometric pattern of that image. It is done using AI to generate the original silhouette, and then to convert it to a geometric pattern.
I have seen these art pieces before, but I never gave one a try because the design would be time-consuming. Until I found an automated technique.
This type of contemporary is a matter of taste. Some will like the art and some won't. For those who enjoy it, give me some ideas of what things would look good finished with a geometric pattern.
Here is a link to one of these, selling as contemporary art for $23.50. It is a Bull's head that I believe is about 8" tall. I do not have the right to share the image, but if you click the link, you will see it.
Here is one that I did of a football player. AI generated the silhouette of the football player, then converted it to a geometric pattern. I sometimes have to add or remove a line, but for the most part, they come out ready to cut.
