Reader Spotlight. Meet Sandy and Paul Wendt

Sandy and Paul have been scrolling for about 4 months. After Paul introduced Sandy to wood working she just took off with it. Sandy enjoys both fretwork and scroll saw boxes and is working on the intricacies of inlay. Her Dewalt 788 gets a good workout almost every night after work.

Paul is more of a band saw guy but is starting to learn a little 3-D scroll saw work. He also sees some real opportunities to use the scroll saw for his other hobby passion of RC model airplanes.

It's exciting to see a couple working together in the shop. They do look like they are enjoying their new hobby. Having a partner to work with can improve your work. Guys, sorry but we need a woman to tell us when to wear blue or black socks. Do you really think we can tell when we have a nice project. Nope. Ask you wife. Trust me she knows.

Sandy and Paul live and work in the Chicago suburbs, check out their website at http://www.kingstreasuresandboxes.com

Check out some of the beautiful work Sandy and Paul have for sale on their web site. Stop by their page and say hi.
