First let me point out a mistake so you don't do the same. I glued the left front leg in the wrong position. The front hoof that is off the ground should be much further forward. Follow the diagram in the pattern so you don't make the same mistake.

This toy is ornamental and not intended for small children to play with.   

The project will require 3/4" thick wood for the body and 1/4" thick wood for the legs and tail. The dowel rod is 5/16" diameter. You can use chain or string for the pull. The chain is attached to the base with an eye screw. You will need four 1.25 inch wooden wheels and four axle pegs.

The image of the flag is included. It just wraps around the dowel and is glued in place. The flag will show on both sides.
