I cut these coasters from 1/4" and 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood. They are nice and big with the cork center being 4" in diameter. I bought the cork pre-cut from
Hobby Lobby. The cork is 1/8" thick. I used red spray paint to give them some color.
This is one of those projects that is a little more difficult than it looks. The center circle cut-out has to be cut very accurately. Any imperfections will really stand out here.
